Meg Litts

Advisory Board, Native Neighbors Table NW MN Synod Liaison

At heart, Meg is an educator at heart with a deep love of children, a passion for social justice, and dedication to making this world a better place for ALL, especially those most under served. She was raised to believe that if we are not part of the solution, we are part of the problem, and to stand up against injustice. Her teaching experience ranges from Kindergarten to middle school to graduate students. She has two remarkable daughters by birth, three exchange daughters around the world, and welcomed her first grandchild into the world last summer. Since January 2019, she has served on the Native Neighbors Table for the Northwestern Minnesota Synod, and was trained and been helping to facilitate the Blanket Exercise. After moving to Duluth, she was part of helping to facilitate a partner book study with Together Here Ministries and the Native Neighbors Table. When approached to serve as the liaison for Together Here Ministries, she saw the opportunity to grown and deepen her own self-awareness and practice towards addressing and undoing her white racial bias and to further healing from experienced and epigenetic trauma as part of this team.
